This town in the south of Tenerife belongs to the municipality of Arona and is one of the most popular and lively tourist resorts on the whole island.

Puerto de los Cristianos is one of the most important ports of the Canary Islands. From there, you can also go on a day trip to visit the island of La Gomera or you can go on a boat excursion to watch cetaceans in freedom.

Most of the attractions in this area are concentrated around the pedestrian area surrounding the beach, where you will find bars, shops and restaurants.

The main beach is one of the best known in the south of the island, it has all kinds of services and covers most of the area's coast. Another of the best beaches is Las Vistas, a quiet and familiar area where you can practice water sports such as diving or just rest quietly in one of the hammocks that you can rent. On Las Vistas promenade there are restaurants and bars where you can also have a drink or have lunch by the beach.
